About the role

  • Assistente Contábil supporting accounting operations and document organization for Grupo Tigre. Involved in audits and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

Responsibilities

  • Classify and file accounting documents (invoices, bank statements and receipts) by organizing physical and digital folders to ensure traceability of operations for internal and external audits.
  • Post low-complexity transactions (such as reimbursements, petty cash expenses and fees) by manually entering data in SAP FI following technical team guidelines to keep income statement accounts up to date.
  • Assist with tagging and physical inventory of assets (computers, machinery, furniture) by verifying asset tags against system records to protect and preserve company assets.
  • Locate and scan document samples requested by auditors by searching files and systems to ensure the audit schedule is met within deadlines.
  • Verify that service and materials invoices have been properly posted in the system by checking billing transactions in SAP to avoid missed accruals or payments at closing.
  • Assist with account reconciliations, ensuring correct composition of balances and adherence to established accounting procedures.
  • Post and clear items in SAP, ensuring proper regularization of balances and contributing to efficient and smooth accounting processes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university degree program (from 2nd year onward) in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Previous experience in administrative routines, document reception or financial/accounting support.
  • Basic accounting knowledge (concepts of debit, credit and account classification).
  • Experience working in office environments with a high volume of documents.
  • Basic/user-level knowledge of the SAP FI module (consultation transactions such as FB03 and simple postings).
  • Organized and committed to managing files and meeting deadlines.
