About the role

  • Plan Document Compliance Senior Lead responsible for compliance in defined contribution retirement plans. Analyzing regulations and providing consultative services to institutional clients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate defined contribution retirement plan documents for compliance issues
  • Provide new plan setup and review suggestions
  • Research and resolve complex operational and regulatory compliance issues
  • Communicate findings regarding operational errors and offer alternative courses of action
  • Analyze impact of new regulations and legislation on client plan needs
  • Educate team members and clients on legislative and regulatory developments
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on defined contribution retirement plan document compliance

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in defined contribution retirement plan compliance
  • Strong ability to analyze complex plan documents and regulatory changes
  • Deep expertise in ERISA and IRS regulations
  • Experience resolving operational errors under IRS EPCRS or DOL Voluntary Correction Programs
  • Familiarity with recordkeeping systems and retirement plan administration platforms
