About the role
- Senior Designer responsible for collaborating with team members on workplace environments. Involves reviewing design deliverables and maintaining project goals and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with team members and consultants throughout all phases of projects
- Assisting in the creation of the workplace environment
- Reviewing and approving design related deliverables, materials, finishes, furniture, artwork, and branding
- Communicating with the team in maintaining goals, schedule, and priorities of assigned projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial workplace design
- Degree from a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program or equivalent
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Comprehensive understanding of construction documentation assembly and coordination
- Working knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards, including ADA compliance
- Interest in sustainable design practices, particularly LEED and Fitwel certifications
- Understanding of current industry standards and construction practices
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
