Responsibilities
Containerizing existing applications — creating and maintaining Dockerfiles and Docker Compose setups.
Deployments in cloud environments — provisioning, configuring, and testing production systems.
System integration — connecting backend services such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Django & Nginx.
Automation of processes — writing scripts and tools to streamline deployments and updates.
Understanding and contributing to security and backup concepts.
Monitoring & troubleshooting — log analysis, performance measurement, and optimizing system stability.
Collaboration with developers — integrating new software releases into existing environments.
Requirements
Currently enrolled student in a relevant degree program, e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Systems Engineering, IT Security, Media Technology, or Electrical Engineering with an IT focus, or a related field with an interest in system integration and DevOps technologies.
Basic knowledge of Linux & Docker.
Understanding of networks, databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and server configurations.
Interest in automated deployments and cloud architectures.
Self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and a structured working style.
Good German or English language skills.
Nice to have: experience with Docker Compose or Portainer; monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus); or CI/CD automation (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
