RTE / Delivery Manager piloting product trains in a hybrid role for a major cosmetics company. Ensuring efficient delivery and operational execution with agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
Orchestrate delivery at scale: Own and drive the overall train roadmap and ensure that objectives set during planning cycles (e.g., PI Planning) are realistic and met.
Manage risks and dependencies: Proactively identify blockers (technical, functional or organizational) and coordinate corrective actions across squads and cross-functional teams.
Optimize the "Flow": Analyze the value stream to reduce Time-to-Market. Implement lightweight but robust synchronization processes (Scrum of Scrums, PO Sync, ART Sync).
Ensure predictability: Define and track concrete performance indicators (Burn-up, Velocity, Predictability, Lead Time). Turn data into actionable plans.
Apply tailored agility: Adapt the "SAFe-like" framework to on-the-ground realities so it serves the product, not the other way around.
Coach and drive: Support Scrum Masters and Product Owners in the field while challenging priorities and deadlines with senior management.
Expected posture: A seasoned "Doer". You have the mindset of an RTE and the agility of a Delivery Manager. You can navigate the complexity of a large organization without losing sight of final delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience (6–10 years): You have previously led multi-team setups (RTE, Program Manager, Senior Delivery Manager).
Delivery & scale expertise: You understand SAFe concepts but remain pragmatic rather than dogmatic. You know what it means to deliver at scale.
Problem-solver mindset: You don’t wait for issues to surface; you proactively address them. You are recognized for your ability to unblock tense situations.
Excellent interpersonal skills: You can communicate with C-level executives while speaking the language of developers and Product Owners.
Fluent English required: You operate in a multicultural environment with teams distributed internationally.
