Responsibilities
- Own every detail of the field operations from start to finish across multiple projects
- Schedule, coordinate, and hold subcontractors and vendors accountable
- Perform accurate material take-offs and manage just-in-time ordering
- Handle permits, inspections, and city/county coordination
- Walk jobs daily to monitor quality, timelines, and cleanliness
- Communicate constantly and clearly with clients, staff, and leadership
- Track job costs, daily logs, receipts, and correspondence — no details missed
- Anticipate problems and solve them before they affect the timeline or client
- Model a “whatever it takes” mindset and set the pace for the team
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction projects (residential and commercial)
- Full knowledge of scheduling, permitting, and project coordination
- Solid communication skills with clients and crews alike — ability to "speak design" and collaborate with internal creative teams
- Ability to handle multiple jobs at once without missing deadlines
- Strong understanding of blueprints, scopes, and MEP trades
- Experience with construction management software (Buildertrend)
- Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
- Works well with others, doesn't complain, and finds a way to get it done
- Drug-free and able to pass a background check
- Positive attitude and relentless commitment to high standards
