Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership, enforcing the vision of the application architecture
  • Lead hands-on coding to stay connected with technical aspects
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards
  • Guide junior engineers to enhance team capabilities
  • Proactively communicate risks and issues to stakeholders
  • Lead innovation efforts leveraging modern technologies

Requirements

  • 5+ years in application software development
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design
  • Proficiency in Java or .NET frameworks
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, Angular/React)
  • Strong working experience as Designer/Developer of REST/SOAP API services
  • Experience with continuous integration and DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Rally, SonarQube)
  • Knowledge of P&C Insurance and low coding platforms (Duck Creek) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
