About the role

  • Trainer & Technical Support managing educational materials and training for HVAC products at Granite Group Wholesalers LLC. Collaborating with internal teams and providing technical support to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain educational materials for HVAC product and services training
  • Prepare sales aids, stock lists, match up forms etc for internal and customer use
  • Schedule, organize, facilitate and deliver training for branch personnel and customers
  • Update HVAC certification programs as necessary
  • Monitor HVAC training programs to evaluate effectiveness and recommend modifications
  • Function as internal consultant on HVAC product lines to assess, measure, and enhance employee performance
  • Respond in a timely manner to customers and TGG associates seeking technical support
  • Visit job sites with customers and vendors when necessary
  • Maintain records of HVAC training activities and employee attendance and progress
  • Track income and expenses for all training
  • Coordinate learning delivery through multiple mediums

Requirements

  • Become certified trainer in vendor training programs (Kohler, Mitsubishi)
  • HVAC industry knowledge
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate training programs
  • Familiarity with Wrightsoft
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Teaching or training experience
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments
  • Technical support experience
