About the role

  • Procurement Buyer managing end-to-end procurement processes within the Finance department at The Clearing House. Responsible for supplier negotiations, contract lifecycle management, and cost savings initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute procurement activities in supporting company goals and objectives, cost savings
  • Execute procurement activities within Ariba Contract and Procurement modules
  • Responsible for contract and purchase order lifecycle track and manage contracts, purchase orders, RFPs, RFQs, Supplier onboarding, etc.
  • Support negotiations of business terms in contracts, including pricing with vendors, to deliver greatest value to the Company
  • Identify potential vendors with knowledge of vendor utilization across departments and coordinate due diligence activities across the Company as needed.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams among business stakeholders, legal, information security, vendor risk management and finance functions
  • Ability to influence others as part of cross-functional teams
  • Adhere to company risk management/control framework

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in purchasing field
  • Experience executing end-to-end procurement activities sourcing, contract negotiation and execution, and purchase orders
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and drive cost savings
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task
