Responsibilities
- Produce at least five original, high-quality pieces each month (articles, whitepapers, videos, etc.) supporting our Evernorth Health Services.
- Manage a beat-specific editorial calendar aligned with business milestones and market trends.
- Collaborate with clinical, product, actuarial, and regulatory experts to source insights and ground stories in data.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Use generative AI tools responsibly for research and workflow optimization.
- Track content performance, analyze results, and turn data into actionable insights.
- Take ownership of high-profile initiatives that elevate our Newsroom’s influence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional writing, reporting, or editing experience in a newsroom, corporate communications, or brand journalism environment.
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape (i.e., GLP-1s, biosimilars and gene therapies) and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.
- Skilled in CMS, SEO, analytics dashboards, and social media best practices.
- Published work that demonstrates strong reporting, multiformat storytelling, and clean, engaging writing.
- Experience working cross-functionally with subject matter experts and compliance partners.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
