About the role
- Full Stack Software Engineer developing web crawlers for a SaaS pricing intelligence platform. Designing high-performance data systems and optimizing large-scale data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain smart web crawlers using modern PHP
- Use tools like Puppeteer to interact with dynamic websites
- Write and fine-tune parsers that extract real-time pricing, stock, and product data
- Tackle anti-bot systems (rotating proxies, CAPTCHAs, etc.)
- Keep crawlers healthy and accurate—fix what breaks before anyone notices
- Work closely with DevOps & Customer Success to deliver stable, high-scale data pipelines
- Collaborate, review code, and mentor junior teammates
Requirements
- Proven professional experience in PHP backend dev (bonus if it’s in scraping/data work)
- Strong OOP PHP (v7 or v8) skills
- Experience with headless browsers (Puppeteer, Playwright)
- Solid grasp of SQL, Linux, Git workflows
- A collaborative mindset & clear communicator
