- Leading the full migration strategy for 600+ legacy AngularJS files using hybrid upgrade patterns.
- Defining scalable architectural standards across 9+ domain modules and shared component libraries.
- Designing and implementing clean, intuitive, and well-tested web interfaces using Angular 15 and modern web technologies.
- Driving frontend architecture decisions and establishing best practices across the web platform.
- Creating reusable components and design systems to accelerate development across teams.
- Championing code quality, performance optimisation, and automated testing in frontend development.
- Leading technical discussions and influencing frontend strategy at an organisational level.
- Mentoring and coaching other frontend engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Staying ahead of web development trends and evaluating emerging technologies for adoption.
- Collaborating with product, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver world-class user experiences.
- Building tools and frameworks to improve frontend development efficiency and quality.
- Optimising build pipelines, bundle sizes, and runtime performance for enterprise-scale applications.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional frontend development with strong technical leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading large-scale AngularJS to Angular migrations.
- Deep expertise with TypeScript, RxJS, Angular 15+, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of state management patterns, performance tuning, and testing strategies.
- Experience with monorepo architectures, Nx, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
- Expertise in performance optimisation, build tools, and debugging web applications.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and multi-tenant architectures.
- Familiarity with retail/POS software, payment flows, or inventory systems (a plus).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication skills in English, enabling effective cross-team collaboration.
- Understanding of observability tools (Sentry, NewRelic, FullStory) and monitoring practices.
