About the role
- Senior Product Manager overseeing product strategy and leading development at textilwerk. Driving product lifecycle and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the further development and implementation of the product strategy and product roadmap in alignment with relevant stakeholders
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor activities and pricing structures to identify growth opportunities and derive strategic and operational recommendations
- Provide subject-matter leadership in defining and prioritizing product requirements and specifications in close collaboration with Development, Marketing and Sales
- Manage the product lifecycle holistically – from strategic concept through market launch to optimization of existing products
- Operational and content ownership for the management, maintenance and enhancement of product information in the Product Information Management (PIM) system and the webshop
- Ensure consistency and high quality (quality assurance) across all product categories
- Work closely across departments with interdisciplinary teams to successfully position and sustainably develop the product portfolio
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Textile Management or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in Product Management, ideally in the textile or consumer goods industry
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and managing projects
- Knowledge of market and competitive analysis as well as product development
- Willingness to travel
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Confident use of common product management tools and MS Office
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
