About the role

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical authority for the program
- Provide subject matter expertise across cross-functional teams
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the approved technical approach
- Lead system architecture and design of modular services
- Promote reusable services and interoperability with existing GSA platforms
- Lead technical teams in an Agile environment
- Implement and mature DevSecOps practices
- Architect and oversee CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, test, and deployment
- Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud-hosted services
- Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks and dependencies
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience serving as a Technical Lead on large scale complex IT programs
- Extensive experience leading Agile development teams and implementing DevSecOps practices
- Proven expertise designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications
- Demonstrated experience deploying and managing applications within AWS cloud environments
- Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-level solutions into production
- Strong understanding of federal IT security standards, including NIST guidance and Section 508 compliance
- Experience mentoring technical teams and managing cross-functional engineering efforts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
