About the role

  • Legal Counsel providing business-oriented legal support in commercial agreements, data protection, and corporate governance at digital health company Temedica. Requires strong experience in corporate law and bilingual language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead role in providing legal support for Temedica.
  • Work closely with management and advise our teams and departments (Product, Marketing, Regulatory).
  • Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal support across Temedica, focusing on commercial agreements, data protection, IP matters, and day-to-day corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate client, partner, vendor, and data agreements.
  • Ensure GDPR-compliant processing of personal and health data.
  • Protect Temedica’s IP and trademarks and integrate IP safeguards into commercial agreements.
  • Prepare shareholder and executive resolutions and manage governance documentation.

Requirements

  • You are a fully qualified lawyer with an excellent academic degree and at least five years of relevant professional experience in a digital environment.
  • You have solid knowledge and extensive experience in corporate law. Knowledge of trademark law and medical device law is an advantage.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and, thanks to your can-do mentality, are not afraid of new or previously unknown topics.
  • You are interested in finding innovative and smart solutions at the intersection of data protection and digitalization and in advancing the entire industry.
  • You have good judgment and are quick to recognize when external specialists need to be involved and can coordinate successful collaboration.
  • You demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and coordinate legal issues in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • You speak German at native level and excellent English and are able to negotiate and draft contracts in both languages.
