Technical Sales Specialist supporting Account Executives in identifying network solution opportunities across Quebec. Requires technical expertise in networking and security for enterprise customers and public sector organizations.
Responsibilities
Identify network and security opportunities with Account Executives through technical discovery sessions
Qualify opportunities and assess technical fit of solutions
Build and maintain an opportunity portfolio across Quebec territory
Track opportunity and funnel progression
Serve as the technical subject matter expert on network solutions for the Account Executive team
Provide technical guidance on SD-WAN (Meraki, Fortinet, VeloCloud), managed LAN/WiFi, and security solutions
Help Account Executives understand customer technical requirements and pain points
Educate Account Executives on network solution capabilities, use cases and competitive positioning
Translate complex technical requirements into solution recommendations
Assist Account Executives in customer meetings to identify network opportunities
Lead technical discovery conversations, assess customer network environments
Help position network solutions within broader customer technology initiatives
Identify triggers and buying signals for network modernization projects
Support Account Executives in developing business cases for network solutions
Engage with customer IT teams and technical stakeholders during discovery phase
Participate in customer-facing presentations with technical expertise
Facilitate connections between Account Executives and Customer Solutions Architects for qualified opportunities
Requirements
10+ years of B2B technology sales experience, preferably in networking, telecommunications, or managed services
Proven experience in a sales-support, specialist, or technical sales role
Proven track record of effective collaboration with account managers or sales teams
Experience identifying and qualifying technical opportunities
Familiarity with enterprise and/or public sector sales environments
Bilingual (French/English)
Advanced proficiency in English is required
