About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage accounting routines, including journal entries and general ledger support
- Support monthly and annual closing processes and P&L reporting
- Ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting and tax requirements
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable flows, working closely with external partners
- Act as the main point of contact with the accounting BPO and global (matrix) teams
- Support tax routines and explain Brazilian tax structures to international stakeholders
- Perform cost analysis and support financial planning activities
- Develop and maintain pricing structures, including building a pricing “calculator” adapted to different Brazilian states (taxes, logistics, and local requirements)
- Monitor cash flow and support basic treasury activities
- Support inventory control and reconciliation of assets and liabilities
- Prepare and consolidate financial reports for internal stakeholders
- Contribute to organizing and improving financial data, processes, and controls
Requirements
- Advanced English (written and spoken) — ability to communicate clearly with global teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax and accounting environment
- Experience with cost analysis and pricing structure
- Experience working with multiple financial routines (accounting, tax, AP/AR)
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel (ability to structure models/calculations)
- Strong analytical mindset and ownership
- Ability to work independently and connect different areas of finance
- Experience in accounting firms (BPO) or shared services environments
- Experience in multinational companies
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Experience building financial models or pricing tools
