Bilingual Travel Representative connecting clients to travel options while providing customer service for Teleperformance. Engaging with customers and utilizing sales techniques to maximize bookings.
Responsibilities
Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers who are currently traveling or are looking to purchase or research travel, following standard procedures and scripts.
Greet and converse with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
Effectively convert customer inquiries into sales.
Use appropriate sales techniques to meet revenue and closing rate targets.
Research travel fares, destinations, options, and packages for customers.
Read provided scripts verbatim while adhering to sales and quality standards.
Accurately answer general questions about travel and destinations.
Provide information, suggestions, and options in a way that is accurate, effectively addresses customer needs, and encourages purchases.
Accurately track and report call types and service issues.
Promote and sell products or services.
Upsell new or additional services.
Handle calls to meet or exceed the established daily metric while maintaining an average talk time in line with current operational needs.
Meet or exceed quality standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
College diploma (preferred)
Two years of experience in sales, telemarketing, upselling, and customer service (required)
Two years of experience in the leisure or business travel industry (required)
One year of experience booking international travel
Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) is required to handle calls from English- and French-speaking customers across Canada and worldwide.
