Engineer responsible for designing and developing network management solutions at Tejas Networks. Collaborating across functions for feature development and integration into OSS products.
Responsibilities
Work closely with PLM, Node Design, System Engineering, CTO office to understand new features, its manageability & usage in telecom service provider networks.
End-to-end ownership of multiple features & involvement in the entire life cycle of features from conceptualization to deployment.
Focus on a particular technology like MPLS-TP or DWDM to understand nuances and design features for manageability, extensibility, scalability, and backward compatibility.
Work with customers for requirement gathering, use-case scenarios, feedback & support delivered features.
Help in integration of features into Service provider’s OSS products & SDN Orchestrators like HP TEMIP, Granite, Oracle Metasolv, Cisco NSO.
Requirements
Experience: 1 to 3 years’ experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree.
Candidate should be good at coding skills in Core Java, multithreading.
Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
Data Structures, Algorithms and their complexity/performance.
Design/development/debugging in Java.
Middleware like Hibernate, ActiveMQ & Relational DBs like MySQL/Oracle.
Good to have: Micro Services and Spring Boot Application development.
Good to have: NMS/EMS/OSS/BSS domain experience.
Familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts, and SDN controllers like ODL or ONOS is desirable.
