About the role
- Senior Data Engineer managing the Medicaid data ecosystem with Tecknomic. Overseeing SSIS packages and leading cloud modernization efforts in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical engine for the agency's Medicaid data ecosystem
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and modify complex SSIS packages handling high-volume Medicaid claims
- Manage code deployments and branching strategies within TFS
- Support and optimize SSRS report queries and SSAS tabular/multidimensional models
- Implement "Medallion Architecture" using Azure Databricks
- Lead the transition of legacy SSIS logic into Azure Data Factory and Databricks notebooks
- Build and tune Dedicated and Serverless SQL Pools within Azure Synapse
- Implement Row-Level Security and automated data masking for PHI/PII
- Develop automated data validation frameworks to ensure data parity
Requirements
