About the role
- SAP Functional Consultant focusing on pre-sales activities, providing strategic support to the commercial team. Responsible for understanding client needs and structuring SAP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work together with the sales team to identify opportunities and define sales strategies
- Gather business requirements from clients (workshops, meetings, and presentations)
- Translate client needs into functional SAP solutions (SD, MM, FI, CO, PM, etc.), with a focus on S/4HANA, ECC, BTP, and other platforms
- Prepare demonstrations (demos), executive presentations, and proofs of concept (POCs)
- Support the development of technical and commercial proposals (scope, effort estimates, assumptions, and risks)
- Participate in RFPs/RFIs, contributing functional content and competitive differentiators
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Support the definition of clients' digital transformation roadmaps
Requirements
- Strong experience as a functional SAP consultant (e.g., SD, MM, FI, CO, PM, etc.)
- Previous experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or client-facing consulting
- Knowledge of business processes (finance, logistics, maintenance, etc.)
- Experience in SAP implementation or rollout projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Ability to translate business requirements into technological solutions
- (Preferred) Experience with SAP S/4HANA (on-premise or RISE)
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, Fiori, or integrations
- Participation in complex proposals (RFPs)
- Advanced English
