About the role

  • Analyze and monitor operational performance of energy assets at Matrix. Collaborate across engineering, operations, and maintenance for energy optimization and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of Matrix's operational assets, identifying deviations and proposing corrective/preventive actions;
  • Develop and review operational and maintenance procedures;
  • Validate incidents recorded in the Daily Incident Report;
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure asset availability and efficiency;
  • Conduct failure analyses, technical reports, and performance diagnostics;
  • Evaluate operational data and propose improvements focused on energy optimization and reduction of operating costs;
  • Provide technical support for the integration of new projects;
  • Prepare operational maneuver plans for asset interventions;
  • Support technical audits and regulatory inspections;
  • Interact with suppliers, integrators, and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and improve solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Electrotechnical, Automation and Control, Energy Engineering, or a related field;
  • Technical English (reading and interpreting manuals, standards, and documentation);
  • Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel) and Power BI;
  • Experience with operation of electrical generation, distribution, or transmission systems;
  • Availability for occasional travel;
  • Driver's license (category B).
