About the role

  • Senior L&D Project Manager for TD managing enterprise-wide talent strategy and learning & development solutions. Partnering with businesses to drive high-quality, innovative learning solutions aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with individual businesses, Learning Solutions Architects/Advisors, vendors, and the broader EL&D team to scope out learning & development opportunities
  • Ensure successful delivery of high quality, innovative, diverse, multi-modal blended learning solutions that support business priorities, enable people strategies, and impact key business measures
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of medium-to-high complexity L&D projects, leveraging key project management tools to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Support the vendor selection, engagement and onboarding process when third-party learning solutions are within scope
  • Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies
  • Build relationships and maintain regular communications with internal and external stakeholders
  • Report on project progress with project teams and business stakeholders at different levels
  • In partnership with L&D CoEs and business partners, support the development of a delivery strategy, change & launch communications plan, and maintenance plan
  • Ensure tight governance control and actively manage/resolve risks and issues
  • Conduct project retrospectives and act on lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Stay current with emerging trends in project management inclusive of Agile and hybrid project practices and principles.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project management
  • Prior L&D experience in performance consulting, design, development, facilitation, and/or learning technologies is beneficial
  • Thorough understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Agile and/or Scrum certification is an asset
  • Practical knowledge in adult learning principles for various delivery methods
  • Proven track record of delivering results and commitment to operational and service excellence
  • Strong client focus with the ability to listen and quickly learn about various clients and become a trusted advisor on delivering learning solutions successfully
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently with changing business priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build relationships effectively, leveraging sound communication, negotiation, consensus-building and influencing skills
  • Ability to tailor communications to different stakeholders at different levels
  • Solutions-focused, "can-do" attitude to foster positive team morale and high engagement
  • Excel in translating business needs into learning requirements in collaboration with L&D partners
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly adaptable and flexible with the ability to take initiative in a dynamic work environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially MS Project
  • Competency in team meeting facilitation in virtual environments leveraging collaboration tools such as MS Teams and Webex
  • Experience with LMS and LXP is a bonus
  • Experience with eLearning tools and standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI, HTML 5) and development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rice) is a nice to have.
