Responsibilities

  • Support compliance risk management associated with models used by TD
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and risk mitigation throughout model lifecycles
  • Identify and communicate compliance model risks to a broad audience
  • Represent Compliance in major projects and initiatives
  • Evaluate model development procedures and practices
  • Provide guidance and oversight for AI/ML systems across the organization
  • Assist with responses to regulatory inquiries

Requirements

  • Expertise in machine learning including evaluation, statistics, and data visualization.
  • Experience with/knowledge of methods, techniques and tools to support bias/fairness assessments
  • Ability to stay abreast of developments in advanced modeling
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the model lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Establish strong relationships with Business Units, Control Partners, Compliance Units.
  • Ability to influence people and deal with conflicting points of view.
