About the role
- Sales Support Associate contributing to store efficiency and customer satisfaction. Engaging customers at cash wrap and processing inventory accurately for a luxury fashion brand.
Responsibilities
- Integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency
- Greeting customers and offering assistance at cash wrap
- Interacting genuinely with customers and determining their needs
- Maintaining cash wrap organization and cleanliness
- Receiving shipments and transfers and processing them according to standards
- Regularly analyzing sales floor to assess replenishment needs
Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous retail experience (cashier/stock experience, sales etc.)
- Preferably in a luxury retail service environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills (including iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet)
- Ability to execute at a fast pace
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
- Ability to maneuver the sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room; climbing, bending, and kneeling are required
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, at times, lift and carry product/cartons up to 50 pounds
