- Cybersecurity intern at ISACA contributing to GRC and Privacy projects through research and data analysis. Engaging in meaningful projects while developing key skills in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Support tasks such as research, data cleanup or analysis, documentation, and administrative tasks that support the team’s core functions
- Assist in updating, maintaining, and documenting Cybersecurity, GRC processes, workflows, and risk registers
- Support privacy operations, including data mapping, policy review, vendor privacy analysis, and compliance tracking (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, global privacy frameworks)
- Contribute to vulnerability management activities, including scanning review, ticket lifecycle tracking, and validating remediation evidence
- Conduct research on cybersecurity, privacy, and governance best practices to support ongoing program enhancements
- Assist in the development, monitoring and reporting of Cybersecurity Awareness and Education
- Help with data quality improvements such as system clean-up, tagging, categorization, and preparation of monthly metrics
- Work on special projects in Enterprise Cybersecurity, such as business continuity updates, third-party risk reviews, or internal audit readiness
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in fields including or related to: Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Privacy / Data Protection, Information Systems, Risk Management
