About the role

  • Security Officer investigating and preventing crimes to safeguard people, property, and assets. Conduct administrative, civil, and criminal investigations to ensure safety at Sutter Health.

Responsibilities

  • Work within an established framework to investigate allegations and prevent and solve crimes
  • Develop work plans and conduct administrative, civil, and criminal investigations
  • Perform research activities, investigate leads, and conduct interviews
  • Compose professionally-written reports that communicate investigative findings
  • Analyze data, control evidence, prepare documentation
  • Make recommendations to justice system authorities

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • PSO - Proprietary Private Security Officer within 30 days of start date
  • 2 years recent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to document investigative results
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and respond to changing demands
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated comfort level with internal systems
  • PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
