About the role

  • Financial Operations Analyst responsible for financial reporting and analysis while handling critical royalty data. Collaborating with leadership to meet business objectives in a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and streamline repeatable financial, business, and operational reporting and analysis that is easily understood by all key stakeholders.
  • Partner with leadership to provide the financial reporting and analysis necessary for them to accomplish their business objectives.
  • Examine the data to figure out what is important to the problem and which methods are best to analyze it
  • Use statistical methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems
  • Perform key functions in the monthly financial close process, including reporting, detailed expense trend analysis, and accruals
  • Advise managers on findings and the various courses they can take to address the problem
  • Evaluate current and previous financial data
  • Write memos and reports for managers to look over the findings and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate information in salesforce.com or any other application used to assist in the reporting and process management
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in accounting, corporate strategy, sales/marketing analytics, management consulting, or related fields.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced understanding of data and its significance to business operations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex topics with users at all levels of financial expertise.
  • Analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving expertise.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate business issues.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and business requirements.
  • 3+ years of end-user or intermediate-level CRM experience, preferably in Salesforce.com and its reporting functionalities. but any CRM tools are acceptable.
