About the role
- Digital Graphic Design Co-op creating marketing materials for Sun Life while gaining real-world experience. Collaborating with a creative team to design various digital assets and supporting marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside team members and build real-world experience in marketing
- Plan, coordinate and execute tasks in product marketing, brand identity and brand strategy
- Designing web and social media graphics, animated gifs, infographics, presentations, brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials
- Offer input to creative meetings and share ideas
- Produce attractive and effective designs for all media
- Create digital assets to improve data visualization through graphs, imagery, and infographics
- Perform graphic duties including designing/editing existing literature and branding collateral
- Liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Communicate with senior team members to receive feedback
- Support the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program during the Fall 2026 semester
- Degree concentration in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or related field
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office
- Motivation to maintain and improve design and brand standards
- Comfortable in presenting your work and articulating the ideas behind it
- Ability to see projects through from inception to production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently but also quick to ask for help if needed
- Ability to coordinate multiple deadline-driven tasks
- Strong organizational skills that support the rest of the team.
