About the role
- Werkscontroller managing economic performance and cost strategies for Sunfire's Dresden location. Supporting financial decisions and optimizing operational capacity in sustainable energy technology.
Responsibilities
- Support overall financial management and take responsibility for transparency and further development of financial performance
- Develop cost and profit strategies in collaboration with the plant manager
- Identify optimization potentials and implement cost-reduction programs
- Manage capacity and manufacturing costs in line with the site strategy
- Use planning, forecasting and reporting as control instruments for plant management
- Evaluate and support investment projects as a commercial sparring partner
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics or Industrial Engineering, ideally with a focus on Controlling or Finance
- Several years of experience in production or plant controlling
- Knowledge of cost accounting, product costing and business analysis
- Experience with ERP systems – ideally SAP – and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Excellent Excel skills, confident handling of production-relevant KPIs
- Very good German language skills at C2 level, good English skills (at least B2)
