Responsibilities
- Designing and monitoring the data landscape
- Designing, implementing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks
- Modeling data and documenting data flows
- Building and maintaining Grafana dashboards for monitoring
- Orchestrating workflows and automating processes (CI/CD)
- Performing regular data quality checks
- Collaborating with business units and IT
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, computer science or relevant professional experience
- Advanced experience with Databricks
- Proficiency in SQL, warehouses, jobs, streams, security/RBAC and performance optimization
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT engineering and scalable data pipelines in dbt
- Familiarity with Grafana and building dashboards as well as alerting systems
- Strong skills in Python and SQL
- Responsibility for stable and reliable operations
- Systematic and quality-oriented way of working
- Fluent German and good English, both written and spoken
- Experience with the operational support of MES systems is an advantage
