Responsibilities
Act as the primary corporate tax advisor for key clients, working closely with lead Partners to deliver tailored tax solutions.
Provide specialist advice on corporate restructuring, M&A transactions, cross-border taxation, and complex compliance matters.
Lead the delivery of tax advisory projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to deliver practical and innovative solutions to complex client issues.
Stay informed on changes in tax legislation and regulatory requirements, sharing relevant updates with clients and internal teams.
Support business development efforts through networking, presentations, and proposal preparation. Leverage our membership in GGI International to generate inbound corporate tax opportunities and coordinate local advice for international projects.
Mentor and support junior staff, offering training and guidance to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
Requirements
Proven experience in a corporate tax advisory role.
CTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience advising personal and corporate clients.
Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and advisory issues.
Experience in managing client relationships and leading projects.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
Strong leadership skills, with experience in team development and mentoring.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in tax software and relevant tools.
An entrepreneurial mindset and enjoyment in identifying business opportunities.
