About the role

  • Work Incentive Counselor assisting job seekers with disabilities in the Brattleboro region. Providing benefits information to help consumers make informed employment choices while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve job seekers with disabilities in the Brattleboro/Springfield/White River Junction region.
  • Provide accurate, timely benefits information so that consumers can make informed choices about employment and benefits.
  • Utilize databases and provide complex analysis to consumers.
  • Offer a high degree of independent thinking and flexibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher AND one (1) year or more of experience at a professional level working directly with persons with disabilities OR one (1) year or more of experience at a professional level in the administration or implementation of a public benefits program.
  • Three (3) years or more of experience at a professional level working directly with persons with disabilities OR three (3) years or more of experience at a professional level in the administration or implementation of a public benefits program.
  • Bachelor's degree in a counseling-related field.
