Responsibilities
Monitor and control accounting activities while ensuring strict compliance with commercial and tax law requirements
Hold technical and disciplinary responsibility for employees within the accounting group
Organize the team’s day-to-day activities and actively participate in ongoing accounting processes
Act as the central link to internal departments and serve as a competent contact for external partners
Ensure timely preparation of year-end financial statements, including the filing of E-Bilanz (electronic balance sheet)
Prepare and perform in-depth analyses of financial and business performance statistics and reports
Requirements
Completed commercial/business training with further qualification as a Certified Balance Sheet Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter IHK) or an equivalent qualification
Several years of solid experience in accounting and in preparing annual financial statements in accordance with commercial and tax law
Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel) and practical experience with ERP systems
Quick comprehension combined with strong analytical skills
Ideally, initial experience in technical or disciplinary leadership of staff
Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation and excellent communication abilities
High sense of responsibility and an independent, structured and precise working style
Very good command of German and English
