UX/UI Designer driving the design direction for digital products at STRADE, an aviation services provider. Focusing on UX/UI standards, design systems, and hands-on collaboration in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
Own and evolve the UX/UI vision and strategy for our digital products, ensuring a consistent and scalable design foundation
Establish and evolve design principles, systems, and processes to ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, making forward-looking, data- and business-informed design decisions that drive scalable improvements and innovation.
Lead hands-on design from concepts to high-fidelity UIs, using wireframes and prototypes to guide discovery and collaboration with Product and Development teams
Design intuitive interface components — from navigation to widgets — and continuously challenge and refine existing patterns
Conduct focused user research and usability validation as needed to support design decisions (not as a dedicated research role)
Champion design best practices and help build a culture of design excellence within the organization
Stay updated on industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to ensure our design approach remains innovative and future-proof
Requirements
Degree ( FH , BSc, MSc) in Design, HCI , or relevant discipline
5+ years of professional hands-on experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment
Proven experience setting up and evolving UX/UI standards, systems, or processes
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Hands-on experience collaborating directly with developers and product managers to align design and delivery
Experience leveraging user research insights and targeted usability testing to inform design decisions
Proficiency in UX design, wireframing, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision etc.
Working knowledge of agile principles (SCRUM, SAFe, Kanban, ...)
