About the role

  • Responsible for analyzing inpatient and outpatient records for compliance at St. Joseph’s Health. Tasks include documentation review in Cerner Millennium and provider communication.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the analysis of inpatient and outpatient records in Cerner Millennium for compliance with documentation requirements according to Medical Staff by-laws, DNV/ISO (Det Norsek/International Organization for Standardization) and DOH (Department of Health) standards.
  • Assigns deficiencies to providers in Cerner Millennium.
  • Responsible for prepping, scanning, quality control and validation of inpatient and outpatient paper medical records into Cerner Millennium

Requirements

  • Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and less than one year of previous work related experience plus three to six months of on the job training and orientation.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Work requires communication skills needed to frequently answer telephone calls and work with multiple interruptions and still sustain positive communication.
