About the role

  • Developing and maintaining frontend systems for strategy games at Twin Harbour Interactive. Ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement of web client for existing games.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the frontend of the web client for existing games
  • Shape the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of frontend systems
  • Collaborate in building and maintaining the roadmap
  • Develop and improve the company's frontend client and tools using best practices
  • Work together with other teams across the company on bug & performance monitoring, tracking, data warehouse solutions, analytics, and game features
  • Communicate with colleagues and other teams to ensure a smooth daily workflow
  • Take full ownership of complex features and projects, from design to post-release monitoring
  • Provide constructive feedback in code reviews and help enforce team coding practices

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3 and current frontend frameworks
  • A degree in computer science or a similar IT related field and have professional experience in software development
  • Ability to operate independently, but also enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team, have good analytical skills, like to think outside the box and the motivation to constantly improve and learn
  • Enthusiastic about video games and preferably already having experience within the industry
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in technical and business English
  • Familiarity with agile software development and scrum-based working environments or the wish to work with them in the future
