About the role
- Backend Developer for STIHL's B2B Dealer Portal. Developing backend services with SAP Commerce Cloud to enhance dealer network efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining features and integrations for the STIHL B2B Dealer Portal.
- Developing high-performance backend services, integrations, and microservice solutions for the STIHL B2B system, based on SAP Commerce Cloud (Java with the Spring MVC framework).
- Ensuring a stable and high-performing B2B backend integration for dealer users.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams — including frontend developers, DevOps, UX designers, product owners, and product managers — to develop holistic end-to-end solutions.
- Participating in the DevOps environment, including automated testing, build & deployment pipelines, and ensuring the quality of the software architecture.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in backend development (Java, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, REST APIs).
- Experience with development and integration of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and a self-organized, analytical working style.
