Responsibilities
- Administer Windows and Linux servers; virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V); HP and Hitachi storage, blade servers; and backup using NetBackup.
- Administer Skype.
- Support IT infrastructure (UPS, generator, and structured cabling).
- Provide third-level support to internal users for hardware, software, telephony and Citrix.
- Administer backup routines using NetBackup.
- Purchase servers, network devices and other infrastructure-related items.
- Prepare documentation for IT infrastructure.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects.
- Follow organizational policies and procedures.
- Monitor the production environment in accordance with defined processes and procedures.
- Ensure the application of IT governance processes.
- Participate in project teams to design the IT infrastructure for branches.
- Administer the recording system and dealerboard.
- Communicate directly with other regional offices.
- Administer the contingency site and People Center.
Requirements
- Experience in technology, preferably in the banking/financial sector.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (certification is a plus).
- Advanced knowledge of Linux Server (Red Hat).
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications (switches, routers, VLANs, data links).
- Good knowledge of DFS.
- Good knowledge of Citrix and virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ITIL v3 certification (a plus).
- Knowledge of backup tools: NetBackup.
- Knowledge of email systems.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools: SCOM, HP OpenView for Linux, Fluke NetFlow, Cacti and NNMi.
- Knowledge of SCCM.
- Knowledge of Skype and Teams telephony.
- Experience administering storage systems and blade servers.
- Advanced English.
