About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the quality and integrity of medical evaluations related to VA disability examinations.
- Support the mission to provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive assessments for veterans.
- Work onsite Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Requirements
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance for VA disability examinations.
- Ensure compliance with VA standards, medical protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve medical documentation and examination results.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of care and reporting.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in veteran disability evaluations.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- **Qualifications:**
- Licensed physician with active unrestricted license, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant with active unrestricted license
- Active clinical license in good standing issued by a U.S. State Board.
- Board Certification in a recognized medical specialty.
- Minimum of **5 years of experience** directly relevant to VA disability examinations.
- Strong understanding of VA disability evaluation processes and standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- **Preferred Qualifications:**
- Prior experience as a Clinical Director or in a leadership role.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and VA systems.
- Experience in training or mentoring medical staff.
