Responsibilities
- Conduct PWS field inspections, investigations, assessments, evaluations, and audits
- Provide technical and regulatory assistance to various organizations/individuals on PWS subjects
- Ensure PWS regulatory compliance and develop enforcement cases
- Prepare and respond to correspondence and reports
- Maintain understanding of PWS concepts, technologies, regulations, etc.
- Review engineering plans and specifications for approval
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of engineering from an appropriately accredited institution
- Proficiency with computers, internet research, word processing software and spreadsheets
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Professional Engineer licensure/Engineer Intern certification is considered an asset
