Responsibilities
Lead various traffic maintenance design projects;
Collaborate closely with the road engineering and bridge engineering teams as well as other disciplines;
Ensure designs comply with Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) standards and any other client-specific requirements;
Coordinate traffic maintenance with various stakeholders and partners;
Supervise junior engineers and Engineers-in-Training (EITs) within the traffic maintenance team;
Develop traffic maintenance scenarios for project implementation;
Analyze impact management and mitigation measures related to traffic mobility and safety;
Prepare preliminary design studies for the traffic maintenance component;
Prepare traffic maintenance plans and specifications and estimate traffic maintenance costs;
Monitor design implementation during construction (office support);
Prepare service proposals and project budget estimates;
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering with 5+ years of experience in a similar role;
Possession of the Construction Site Safety Card (ASP) is essential;
Knowledge of AutoCAD and MTQ standards (specifically Volume V) is a good foundation for this role;
