Requirements
- 20+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering and/or mineral economics, or a related field.
- Diverse background in mining projects.
- Experience designing and analyzing projects using various economic and financial methodologies.
- Experience developing new clients and relationships.
- Experience with outputs of a mine plan and analyzing the resulting financial implications of different parameters.
- Strong technical and business writing skills, organizational skills, technical leadership abilities, oral communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work and make decisions independently.
- Demonstrated successful experience to initiate and maintain relationships with local staff and key staff from other locations within Stantec, as well as with existing and prospective clients.
- You have a willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- You have strong technical skills in conducting mineral market studies, economic and financial evaluation of mining projects, mineral valuations, mining development strategies, risk analysis, and mining advisory.
- You have experience representing a company at conferences.
- You have experience developing proposals and managing projects.
