Chargé(e) de projet en Géophysique, gérant des projets au sein de l'équipe de Stantec. Mise en œuvre des techniques géophysiques et développement de l'activité.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, test and supervise geophysical data acquisition programs;
Identify client and/or project team needs and select the most appropriate geophysical technique;
Plan field programs (budget, schedule, equipment, resources, etc.);
Carry out acquisition and processing of data collected in the field. Perform data quality control, interpret results and prepare deliverables;
Train and supervise additional or supporting resources (technicians, junior engineers, geologists).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in geological engineering, engineering physics, geology or another relevant discipline; a Master's degree in geophysics is an asset.
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience performing geophysical assignments applied to engineering projects.
Knowledge of multiple geophysical methods: seismic refraction, MASW, DC electrical imaging, vibration monitoring and control, borehole logging, downhole methods, ground-penetrating radar (GPR), reflection seismic (asset).
Ambitious and proactive.
Autonomous and able to work under tight deadlines.
Good written communication skills in French and functional English.
ASP card.
Member of the OIQ or OIG (asset).
Available to travel regularly across Quebec (10–20% of the time).
