Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize welding processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Create and maintain welding procedures and documentation
  • Conduct training and professional development for welding personnel
  • Collaborate with the development department to improve welding techniques and procedures
  • Support the planning and execution of projects in the field of welding technology
  • Inspect and assess welds and welded joints

Requirements

  • Further qualification as a Welding Engineer (SFI)
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in welding technology, preferably in the metal industry
  • Solid knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • Experience performing quality controls and working with testing/inspection methods
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Independent and structured working style
