About the role
- Functional Family Therapist providing home-based mental health counseling to children and families in Virginia. Collaborating with clients and utilizing FFT evidence-based model for effective therapy.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 10-15 families for a duration of 8-26 weeks depending on the needs of each family.
- Provide at least 1 hour/week of home-based family therapy to each client on your caseload.
- Flexible hours are required to meet family needs.
- Complete all documentation accurately.
- Travel within a one-hour drive is necessary.
Requirements
- Registered (or eligible) as a Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S) in Virginia.
- QMHP-C with 5+ years experience with children and families also considered.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, personal vehicle, and good driving record.
- Willingness to transport clients as needed.
