About the role
- High Value Communications Officer producing engaging donor communications and funding proposals. Supporting funding opportunities within Action for Children's ambitious fundraising team.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring high value fundraisers have a suite of ‘off the shelf’ content they need to inspire and engage potential and existing supporters.
- Write high quality proposals, concept notes and other fundraising materials for major donors, trusts and foundations and corporate partners.
- Provide high quality stewardship, grant management and reporting materials for strategic grants.
- Advise fundraisers on the funding priorities across the organisation.
- Maintain an up to date, fit for purpose list of cost examples for use by teams across Fundraising.
- Build excellent working relationships across key teams, acting as the ‘go to’ for programmatic information.
Requirements
- Experience of producing high quality written materials that are tailored to the needs of internal or external audiences.
- Experience of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent inter-personal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate technical programme information into compelling donor communications for different audiences.
- Ability to interpret and analyse financial information.
- Demonstrable organisational skills.
