High Value Communications Officer producing engaging donor communications and funding proposals. Supporting funding opportunities within Action for Children's ambitious fundraising team.
Responsibilities
Ensuring high value fundraisers have a suite of ‘off the shelf’ content they need to inspire and engage potential and existing supporters.
Write high quality proposals, concept notes and other fundraising materials for major donors, trusts and foundations and corporate partners.
Provide high quality stewardship, grant management and reporting materials for strategic grants.
Advise fundraisers on the funding priorities across the organisation.
Maintain an up to date, fit for purpose list of cost examples for use by teams across Fundraising.
Build excellent working relationships across key teams, acting as the ‘go to’ for programmatic information.
Requirements
Experience of producing high quality written materials that are tailored to the needs of internal or external audiences.
Experience of working both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent inter-personal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to translate technical programme information into compelling donor communications for different audiences.
Ability to interpret and analyse financial information.
Demonstrable organisational skills.
Initiative-taking and self-organised.
