About the role

  • Manager of Software Engineering leading Workplace Care team improving mental health services at Spring Health. Collaborating with product and engineering teams to enhance employee support and services.

Responsibilities

  • Owning development and delivery of Workplace Care improvements
  • Managing a thriving team of engineers; foster a mission-driven culture centered on velocity, ownership, and execution
  • Ensure operational excellence: SLOs/SLIs, on-call and incident management, observability, tech debt management, and developer experience.
  • Drive execution across teams and organizations, aligning initiatives with broader clinical and strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience as an engineering manager (manager of individual engineers)
  • At least 5 years of experience with Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript and/or Flutter
  • Track record of data fluency and objective measures of impact
  • Track record of proactive and collaborative leadership style
  • Track record of strong talent management and team health success
