About the role

  • Manufacturing Process Automation Engineer executing automation projects from design to commissioning in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Hybrid role supporting local and international teams in delivering top-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Execute manufacturing process automation projects from design to implementation and commissioning support at customer site
  • Responsible for implementation and visualization of process control systems
  • Carry out basic and detailed engineering and assume coordinative tasks in the project
  • Create all necessary documentation for customers (focus: pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing & chemical industry)

Requirements

  • At least 3 years experiences in the manufacturing automation environment or in process automation
  • Degree in chemical, pharmaceutical/biotechnology or electrical engineering or a comparable degree
  • First insights into one of the most common process automation systems / DCS (e.g. Honeywell Experion PKS or Emerson DeltaV)
  • Open communication skills and proactive customer approach
  • Team-oriented approach to work and interest in developing new topics in manufacturing automation
  • Basic knowledge in ISA S88 Batch control
