About the role

  • Lead Product Manager overseeing Credit Analytics and managing product lifecycle for Universal Coverage suite. Engaging with clients and collaborating with engineering teams for successful product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structured product discovery from strategic idea through validated opportunity—conducting client interviews, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative signals, and building evidence-based business cases.
  • Own and evolve the Universal Coverage product roadmap, ensuring priorities reflect client value, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
  • Drive alignment across business stakeholders on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs—communicating with clarity and confidence at all levels of the organization.
  • Translate ambiguous strategic direction into well-defined requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria ready for agile execution.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the full product development lifecycle, applying appropriate rigor at each stage from ideation through delivery and iteration.
  • Serve as the primary product manager for Universal Coverage, including API integration workflows and the complexity of aggregating data across multiple heterogeneous sources.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the underlying data architecture, integration patterns, and client consumption models to make informed prioritization decisions.
  • Partner with engineering, data, and commercial teams to ensure product builds are technically sound, commercially viable, and deliver measurable client value.
  • Proactively identify coverage gaps, data quality issues, and integration challenges that affect client outcomes, and drive resolution through appropriate channels.
  • Act as the authoritative voice of Credit Analytics needs in collaboration with the shared platform team—building trust, articulating business value, and influencing prioritization without direct authority.
  • Develop structured proposals, feature briefs, and dependency plans that clearly communicate the Credit Analytics perspective and enable the platform team to make well-informed decisions.
  • Navigate competing priorities across teams with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset, finding paths forward that serve both divisional and enterprise goals.
  • Engage regularly with clients—conducting discovery sessions, gathering feedback, and translating insights into product direction.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders including sales, commercial leadership, and technical partners.
  • Present product strategy, roadmap updates, and delivery status with confidence and clarity, tailoring communication style to the audience.
  • Directly manage 1–2 Product Managers, providing clear direction, regular feedback, and active coaching on product craft.
  • Model intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset—setting the standard for how the team approaches problems, clients, and uncertainty.
  • Create conditions for the team to do their best work, removing blockers and connecting PMs to the context they need to be effective.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressive product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex product areas from discovery through delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead product discovery: structuring ambiguous problems, gathering and synthesizing evidence, and building the case for investment.
  • Strong roadmapping skills, including the ability to prioritize across competing demands and communicate rationale clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with API-based products and/or data integration challenges—comfortable engaging with technical complexity without being an engineer.
  • Domain knowledge in credit risk, credit analytics, or financial data and market intelligence.
  • Track record of effective cross-functional collaboration, including influencing teams or priorities where you hold no direct authority.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging clients directly—running discovery interviews, presenting product concepts, and incorporating feedback into product decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills: able to simplify complex topics, tailor messages to the audience, and hold a room with confidence.
  • Experience managing or mentoring other product managers, with evidence of investment in team development.
  • Proficiency with agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, ADO); experience participating in or leading sprint ceremonies.
